Dr. Kaitie Kirkpatrick, originally from Dallas, recently joined Equine Veterinary Services (EVS) as an Associate Veterinarian after completing an internship at Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery in Weatherford, Texas.  She is a 2014 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kirkpatrick holds an undergraduate degree in Animal Science, with a minor in chemistry, from Abilene Christian University where she was a University Scholar.

"I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to have Dr. Kirkpatrick join our team here at EVS. Her diverse skill set and ability to communicate with clients is excellent," says Dr. Kent Arnold, Equine Veterinary Service owner and Chief of Staff.

Dr. Kirkpatrick is an active member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners and has been involved with veterinary related travel programs to Argentina, Brazil, Honduras, Mexico and Uruguay. She has a deep love and respect for horses and horse people, which is reflected in her volunteer work with hippotherapy rehabilitation and State 4-H Horse Show involvement, as well as her dedication to the professional treatment of the athletic and backyard horse.

"Our mission here at EVS is to provide comprehensive medical care for horses and that is what we do everyday. We actually service clients in Dallas, Kaufman, Rockwall and Van Zandt Counties," says Dr. Kirkpatrick. "I am thrilled to be a part of such a great team where the entire staff is dedicated to providing high quality care."

Equine Veterinary Services is a full-service equine veterinary clinic located in Terrell, Texas.
