The splashtastic fun has officially begun with two attractions for one great price.

Spring Break officially is a few weeks away, but the circusand splasheshave already rolled into town at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark.

The iconic Grand Prairie destination invites guests to the 2026 Spring Break Sneak Preview, a curtain-raiser for the waterparks 2026 Spring Break season. Happening from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the celebration spotlights the parks new two-for-one Spring Break experience, pairing unlimited access to signature slides and splash zones with the official grand opening of the cirque-style Epic Circus Spectacular under the big top on the EpicCentral lawn, just steps from the waterpark.

Circus performances are scheduled for 1, 4 and 7:30 p.m., featuring music, dazzling costumes, high-flying aerialists, jaw dropping feats of gravity, and high-speed specialty acts performed by world-class talent.

Inside, the excitement spans 80,000 square feet of resort-style waterpark fun, from carving waves on the FlowRider® and floating the not-so-lazy river to chasing thrills from mild to wild on the waterparks signature slides. Dry-land diversions await in the arcade, while the Hungry Wave Cafe serves delicious cuisine at every price point and Longboards offers beach-inspired pours to round out the day.

The Epic Circus Spectacular runs through March 23 and is FREE for all Epic Waters ticket holders, with guests welcome to enjoy their choice of multiple performances in a single visit. The 9th Annual McKinney Shamrock Run 5K Presented by HOTWORX returns on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Towne Lake Park. Kick off St. Patricks Day weekend with one of McKinneys most spirited community traditions, filled with energy, friendly competition, and plenty of green.

Festivities begin at 8:00 AM, with the chip-timed 5K race starting promptly at 9:00 AM. Runners will dash through a scenic course and cross the finish line to earn a custom finishers medal. Participants ages 21 and over can also enjoy a complimentary ice-cold green beer from TUPPS Brewery after the race.

Registration includes entry into the chip-timed race, the official Shamrock Run 5K t-shirt, a custom race bib, and the events signature finisher medal. A portion of the proceeds benefits The Warriors Keep.

Competitive runners will have the chance to earn cash prizes during the awards ceremony presented by Prestige Community Credit Union, beginning at 9:45 AM. Cash awards will be given to the Top Overall Male and Female finishers, as well as top Stroller Strider. Additional awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in each age group: 14 and under, 1519, 2029, 3039, 4049, 5059, and 60+.

Beyond the race, the Shamrock Run delivers a full morning of family-friendly fun. An iconic Dallas celebration transforms Lower Greenville into a sea of green

Dallas, TX The Lower Greenville St. Patricks Day Block Party returns Saturday, March 14, 2026, bringing a full day of music, celebration, and high-energy festivities to one of Dallas most iconic entertainment districts. Sponsored by The Vanderbilt to Vickery Association, this beloved tradition has defined St. Patricks Day on Lower Greenville for more than 30 years, drawing thousands of attendees each year.

Gates open at 9:00 AM, and Lower Greenville quickly becomes a hub for the days celebrations. This 21+ event creates a large-scale street festival atmosphere featuring outdoor bars, live DJs, beer tents, and venue-specific experiences from many of the neighborhoods most popular restaurants and bars.

Eight of Lower Greenvilles most recognizable destinations will anchor this years celebration: Stans Blue Note, Dallas oldest continuously operating bar; The Dubliner, Dallas oldest Irish pub; Dodies Reef; Terillis Restaurant; Halcyon; Christies Sports Bar; Sister Restaurant; and Goodwins. Together, these venues showcase the distinctive character and energy that define the Lower Greenville Block Party.

The Lower Greenville Block Party is known as much for its atmosphere as its scale. Greenville Avenue comes alive with music, movement, and a crowd dressed head-to-toe in festive green, from shamrocks and bold outfits to playful accessories and costumes. Groups gather for photos, drinks are raised, and spontaneous pockets of dancing fill the street, creating the anything-can-happen energy that has become synonymous with Lower Greenville.

The Lower Greenville Block Party has become one of Dallas most recognizable St. Patricks Day traditions, said a representative of The Vanderbilt to Vickery Association. There is nothing quite like seeing Greenville Avenue come alive in a sea of green. Our goal is to provide a fun, welcoming environment where guests can celebrate responsibly and enjoy the day safely.

Guests can enjoy multiple entertainment activations throughout the event footprint, including three music stages. Participating venues will offer festive favorites such as green beer and festive food offerings. Many locations will also feature dedicated VIP-style areas, providing special access to patios, rooftops, and premium viewing spaces.

The block party takes place along Lower Greenville Avenue between Vanderbilt and Vickery from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is $20 per person (cash only). Valid government-issued identification is required for entry (21+), and ATMs will be available at entry points and throughout the event grounds.

To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, backpacks, large bags, coolers, containers, and outside beverages are prohibited. Items may not be taken into or out of the event footprint once inside. Dallas police officers will be on-site throughout the event to support safety and crowd management.

Mixology Mondays classes are hosted weekly at The Parlor, inside Sheraton Dallas, from 5-6pm. The cocktail featured varies weekly and reservations are required. The cost is $30/per person which does not include tax and gratuity.
