About
PrideRock Wildlife Refuge rescues unwanted big cats and other wildlife species. PrideRock gives these animal permanent and final homes for the remainder of their lives. Many of the animals we rescue are abused, confiscated from law enforcement or surrendered from owners who can no longer care for them. Many animals are retired from circuses or other exhibits. PrideRock also provides species-specific diets, species-appropriated enclosures, nutritional supplements, daily enrichment and veterinary care. Currently, we are caring for 30 lions, tigers and cougars, three black bears, three wolves and one hyena. We are a non-profit, closed to the public facility in Terrell, Texas.
